Project Description: Slatehaus developed the creative strategy and led all production and post production for "The Story Isn't Over," a short documentary for Baby Steps, a nonprofit providing housing, community, and support to student mothers navigating college through an unplanned pregnancy. The film follows a real Baby Steps mom from the moment she found out she was pregnant through graduation, blending a present day interview with cinematic re-enactments to bring her story to life. The goal was to show donors and supporters what becomes possible when a student mom is met with real community.
